Our History
JOY Closet was founded as a mission outreach in 2013 by First Presbyterian Church of Gardner. Through generous donations and community support, the JOY Closet offers clothing to our community members in need while providing a thrift store environment open to anyone to shop. In 2021 we purchased, renovated and moved into a new larger facility. We are currently expanding our outreach to those in need in the local community. We give back to the community through our Free Voucher program and our Designated Donation program.

Everyone is Welcome to come shop our low prices.
Joy Closet is run 100% by volunteers.
We accept all clothing, bedding, shoes, baby stuff, books, household, knick knacks, toys, etc.
We Do Not Accept Large items, No TV’s, No Large Furniture, No Mattresses.
