Mission Pillar is in need of a volunteer to serve as “point person” or coordinator for the church’s participation in the Care Portal program. The job of the coordinator is to receive all emails from the network (sometimes 2-3 a day, sometimes nothing for a week). Then the coordinator evaluates whether our church can meet that need and whether to send that email on to members who are interested in getting the emails. Often our best way to meet the need is through goods at Joy Closet. So a person familiar with current Joy Closet inventory would be helpful. If our church can meet the need, the coordinator will either oversee getting goods to the recipient or will delegate that process to someone else in the church.
